IBX use a single row duct rotor with a central axel as the rotational bearing surface and has much larger diameter within same size pressure vessel. A 8" rotor will fit inside a thin wall metallic pressure vessel with ID=8" and flows 500 GPM.

ERI use a double row duct  rotor with an external sleeve as the rotational bearing surface and can only fit a 6.5" rotor inside a thick wall composite pressure vessel with ID=8" and flows 300 GPM.

IS QUADRIBATIC PX-300 - READY ?

Energy Recovery Inc. (NASDAQ:ERII) introduced their new generation technology QUADRIBATIC last fall, but is it working ?
